I tried to temper my recency bias by giving this one four stars but I can’t stop thinking about it, and where it could go in the future. I may have to bump it up half a star
This film sits right in that sweet habitable zone between the fantasy and reality. The characters actually feel like they belong in this world. Also, Gotham actually looks like GOTHAM and not the buisness district of Chicago. Without a doubt it’s the prettiest Batman movie ever shot. It may even be the most Batmany Batman movie in general and thats saying something considering Batman Returns exists.
