Letterboxd — Your life in film

a worthy addition following wandavision in the “surprise, evan peters is in this!” canon

hearing vampire weekend and dominic fike back to back was certainly worth seeing peter in the theater for

i’ll let it slide this time john, but if we have to sit through a THIRD movie of characters getting their feet and legs mutilated, i’m going to assume something’s wrong

is it just me or does this movie have a fairly similar plot setup to we’re the millers (2013)

the best kind of escapism, reminds you just how beautiful life can be, and how wonderful the world is. a perfect summertime hit

there’s a breeze off the Hudson, and just when you think you’re sick of living here, the memory floods in

a little sloppy in areas (specifically in regards to sharon carter and a majority of episode 3, wouldve liked more development for the flag smashers as well), but the back half of the series definitely made up for some of the shortcomings of the first. 
my favorite part of this is how real it feels, politically and socially. also, sam’s backstory and the time with his family is some of the best mcu writing yet. kinda liked this a lot! wasnt always sure but this is a really really solid series.

sooo good but i’ll always resent this movie for shutting down the highway to film causing me to have to wake up at 4am every day for a week to get to school

another addition to the “tom holland movies bogged down by terrible narration and an underwritten female lead” cinematic universe

a truly remarkable feat and a perfect cap to a once in a generation story. i’ll miss the snyder-verse dearly

likely the best thing marvel has ever done, and a perfect meditation on the grief of a woman who’s never been given the time to.

my brain is absolutely FRIED, god bless jac schaeffer
