important message to all men: if you treat us like trash, we will unleash insanity
I do want to mention the score for the film. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have quickly become favorites of mine. Their score for Gone Girl embraces the situation and adds upon it with a feeling of loneliness and relaxation. This music makes me feel like solitude can be the most beautiful of things. Most of the songs in the album/movie are simple yet complex with many layers of depth. Overall I would say the score is bittersweet and beautifully dark - just like the film.
List of songs to check out:

2. Technically, Missing (Amy's Monologue)
3. Like Home
4. Procedural (looking for Amy)
