I would like to point out something about when Rapunzel sings the “flower gleam and glow” song.
When we first hear Mother Gothel sing it; it’s in a minor key (sounds sad). Then we hear Rapunzel sing it when she’s a child in a major key (sounds happy). She later goes on to sing it in front of Flynn to heal him, but she sings it in the minor key. For some reason it gives Gothel a more human characteristic as a villain because she teaches the song to Rapunzel as a happy lullaby but as she gets older, she learns the true meaning of the song and it reverts to the original key; which is that of minor key.
This is probably a pointless analysis but I figured I’d point it out and share it with all of you!
