missing something for me! be it camp, a certain coziness, a human edge, a filmic je ne sais quoi; there's this almost smug humor, a sort of ironic detachment to the satirical elements, the camera, even some cuts, and it just takes the weight out of things. it's somehow aesthetically so clean, sharp, literal, even though it wants to be dirty and shocking and cRaZy
i did love the bit with the cage and the bottle though
