This is a first reaction, but the score is not set in stone. I need to watch it again when it comes out on Blu-ray because I couldn’t decipher 50% of the dialogue (which is my main complaint because it takes away from the possibly impact that I didn’t receive). What I can say is that it is a masterpiece from a filmmaking standpoint. Flawless direction, editing, cinematography, acting, etc. I can tell there’s a theme in there somewhere and I can understand some of what they’re trying to say, but I need to hear the whole script in full. Regardless of all of that, I do think it started VERY slow and I got bored pretty quickly. Then it picks up and keeps me intrigued. Hopefully after seeing it again, my opinion changes.
