NOTE: Mysterio’s insane exposition dump in the bar did not go on for as long as I remembered and it was a little sad but still an insanely long and convoluted exposition dump that Jake handles masterfully.
I feel like one thing that has gone unappreciated about the MCU Spidey movies are the side villains that have popped up. In HOMECOMING he fought Shocker and in this one we see Spidey not only fight Mysterio but also Hydro-Man and Molten Man. And something that was shown in the Blu-Ray special features is the license plate on the vehicle Maria Hill drives to the scene with Molten Man shows "ASM 28965" which is a nod back to the comic book Amazing Spider-Man Issue #28 in Sept 1965 that introduces Molten Man. Love these details!
I will never forget, MJ, your usage of “Bo” for whenever I go to Italy. Helluva mantra.
Ever since ASSASSIN’S CREED II I have been a sucker for European Renaissance-esque parties and the fact that the MCU gave me one with Spider-Man? My god, I’m so grateful.
