    Merry Christmas y’all!! ❄️🎄🥳🎄❄️

“She's afraid I will tweet an ethnic slur again.”

    A whimsical murder
This is what I needed. Ryan Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is an infectious, clever, well acted and blissfully well shot murder mystery that plays as a love letter to the genre. As someone with an admittedly short attention span, this kept my attention all the way throughout its runtime.

It’s by no means a masterpiece but damn was this fun. Plus when combined with the tight script and eyegasmic cinematography make me want to give Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery a B

“I never thought I’d feel fear like that again. I thought I’d mastered all that.“

    Spoilers ahead
That’s right folks, I’m starting of with a spoiler review! Also, just pre warning you, this is probably gonna be a long one because this is a long ass movie and I have a lot I need to talk about.

Matt Reeves has created an intrinsic, incredibly unique and what may be my new favourite Batman film. The Batman is gothic, broody and…

Never gonna look at paint the same way again.

Um… how tf do you even review this? Despite its gargantuan runtime, this film manages to hold your attention by bombarding you with a consistent stream of absurd misery, with its visceral imagery, eccentric performances and Ari Aster’s specialty, disturbing ass sound design.

Utterly miserable with pockets of well timed and surprisingly hilarious black comedy, plus combined with its visceral imagery make it an incredibly unique film unlike anything I’ve seen or probably every will see again.
Ari Aster’s Beau is Afraid gets an A-

    Elevated gun porn.
Quite possibly the most sleek, concise and consistently gripping modern action film. Fluidly paced action sequences, enhanced by the masterful stunt work. All being framed in Jonathan Sela‘s euphoric cinematography. The film is drenched in piercing reds and eyegasmic blues. The night club scene being potentially the best showcase of balancing lusciously fluid cinematography with fast paced, methodical…

“You know something, Utivich? I think this just might be my masterpiece.”

Ok, it’s finally happened, this film has finally fully clicked with me!

I think this was my third watch of this film and on my previous watches, it was very clear to me why people consider this to be a masterpiece. Because yes, it is. It’s just that for whatever reason, the film just didn’t quite click with me. I definitely liked it and I loved all the…

This was a film that I was incredibly anticipated for. The Coen Brothers have made two of my all time favourite films, those being The Big Lebowski and No County for Old Men, so when I heard that Joel Coen was going to be making a film with Denzel Washington, I was more than a little excited. For the most part, this film does live up to my expectations.

This films biggest pro is definitely its cinematography. This film is gorgeous…
