The movie still continues and actually better after the first (and bet you think it's about it too) plot ended thanks to the strong performance from Brie Larson and promising Jacob Tremblay
Saving a special movie for my 100th this year, In the Mood for Love somehow exceed my already high expectations
It has masterful performance, breathtakingly beautiful cinematography, music that enhance scenes so much that you can’t imagine any other song to accompany the said scene, and a tale that provokes a lot of emotional response from us, the viewer
It's a tale of betrayal, of trust, of loneliness, of regrets, of a platonic relationship, of longing for human connection, and of course, ultimately it's a tale about love
A fitting end to one of the most decorated and heartbreaking character arc in television
El Camino captured the Breaking Bad tone perfectly while still being a thrilling slow-burn movie filled with fun callbacks (and flashback, a lot of it)
Of course, it is a given to only watch it if you watched Breaking Bad
I hate the campy undertone overdone in Thor: Ragnarok. It started fun till it got overblown and went to "please, enough" phase.
The climax is pretty flat and the Ragnarok part is pretty misleading. Instead of grand scale war, we got Protagonist vs Just Another Bunch of Feeder.
Asgard in particular felt heartless like its not making me gave a fuck whatsoever when the ending comes.
I also cant help but to be biased since I read the comic book.…
