okay. listen. I could make this review about how the system failed Hedy solely because she was a woman, but that's a narrative that's been told for years. I could also say something like 'wow' or 'I'm shook' but that wouldn't do her any justice, and that's what this movie's purpose was. obviously, there are no words sufficient enough to express just how amazing this woman was, but I'll try.

Edit: I knew this would win but I’m still fuming. Congrats to the academy for saying that blackface in 2019 is not only acceptable but worthy of an award!!!!
