(mini-review: What a blast! The continual standout Weaving controls the lead role with a strong mixture of down to earth charm, natural fear, bravery and eventual badassness from beginning to end with one of the best scream queen roles in history. The story development and execution is middling to decent, but the premise strength, cast and strongly even-leveled horror/humor blend elevate the experience. I'm a sucker for mansions in horror, too... that makes three mansion movie reviews in a row now. Very cool set. Recommended!)
Thanks to my best bud Matt for the suggestion.
