Reminds me a bit of Stronger (2017) where there's nothing admirable about the filmmaking and what ultimately makes the film is the performances.
The first half is really underwhelming, while the second half I found a lot more engaging and intriguing.
It's an interesting story and I'd recommend it if you're a fan of these 2 leading actors.
