Requiring intense concentration to follow at times, but even when I was finding it a little difficult, the interesting and unsettling tone swept me along just fine. Zizek is pretty captivating as a narrator in a strange way, and all the film clips are proper interesting. Good stuff.
Gets a bit too silly near the end, but otherwise it does a great job as political satire and comedy. Had a good time.
The surprising plot points didn't hit so hard (as one might expect on 2nd viewing), but I was surprised how the emotional and comedy beats were still pretty great.
Did agree with criticisms that Thor is a bit *too* funny. Like, during points that ought to be more emotional etc. That stood out.
Also yeah Captain Marvel is still pretty bland, character-wise and in terms of her position in the plot. Although, I didn't know that the Brie Larson hadn't actually seen the script for her own film when shooting this, which makes a lot of sense during this watch.
