The basic Becky of horror.
QT's darkest movie to date, Django Unchained may also be his most serious work. Though one can still find some of Tarnatino's trademark witty banter and stylistic execution, the film plays it straight for the most part. Slavery is shown as the cruelty that it is and the violence presented is not fun, hip or entertaining. The resulting revenge strays into a more expected, stylized violence but it never becomes the Tea Leaves scene part Deux. A quality picture from one of our greatest directors.
