Ethan Woods’s review published on Letterboxd:
Still an all time favorite. I’ll never forget the way this washed over me in the theater. The performances here are all incredibly heartfelt, even when we’re laughing at William for making his own shampoo or talking about the “earth mother”, there’s so much love. And Annette Benings mom energy makes me feel so much (“Why didn’t you think?”). This is an incredibly vital movie and one that’s touched my soul forever
“Um, you cannot let her sleep here if she’s not having sex with you. It’s disempowering.
Also, you need to get out of this town before you start working at a sunglasses shop.”
