  Pretty comforting trash, just nice to hang out with Denzel in Italy. Love that The Equalizer is like if Jason Voorhees was the world’s greatest neighbor to every community he joins

  It’s so cool that Ari Aster got millions of dollars to make a movie he wrote in freshman year of college. 

  I actually enjoyed the nihilistic first hour or so, some good dark comedy, like the Hell World that Aster presents. Aster’s mean and hateful, but it’s a perspective at least and he’s got some wit here. Love Nathan Lane and Amy Ryan. Becomes insanely tedious after that though, both really boring and repetitive but also too loud to fall…

  Luhrman doing Speed Racer Amadeus. Rules that Tom Hanks’ cartoon villain Colonel Parker is the lead of this. Also an excellent outing to take your parents on, get to sneak an edible and not talk to them for like 3 hours
