You're Norma Desmond. You used to be in pictures. You used to be big.
I am big. It's the pictures that got small.
Norma Desmond demands your attention! She's batshit crazy because Hollywood chewed her up and spit her out then left her to rot in a decaying old mansion... When a struggling writer fleeing debt collectors stumbles into her home he really has no idea what he's in for, but we do and despite having given away the goodies right from the start and knowing he is dead this is still amazing. It's a classic film but its themes of vanity, aging, struggling to get ahead and trying to adapt when things change so constantly are still relatable and relevant. Norma's character is iconic and her mental breakdown is bone chilling but kinda hilarious. I love the snappy dialogue here too, its chef's kiss ! 🔥💋😱
Alright Mr.Demille, I'm ready for my close-up.
