Stephen Gillespie’s review published on Letterboxd:
Clever filmmaking makes this an unparalleled insight into an emotional and important narrative. Humanity is captured well here and the first act is utterly exceptional - with its commitment to evoking the point of view. Being ‘locked in’ with the character is very powerful and illustrates the unique capabilities of cinema. Some of the wider narrative isn’t as compelling, too many flashbacks that feel invasive or ancillary, but an excellent film on the whole.
