Came for Sonic Youth. Fitting use of Tunic, the hotel sequence could’ve easily became a music vid

I was frustrated with how understated everything felt, but I keep thinking about how other directors would’ve made this (and dragged out Cheung’s arc), and Assayas’s decisions are starting to grow on me. 

A lot of the meta stuff went over my head, but I liked everything else!

flawlessly written, directed, and performed. Regina 👑

so much more than an action movie. Great world building and script. Strong cast of characters, esp Bokeem Woodbine. Things come together in the end.

Perfect movie perfect ending. 2017 was way too good moviewise
