Steve Moyle’s review published on Letterboxd:
A very unique film from Wong Kar Wai revolving around a writer who has an affair with a beautiful woman that goes downhill. Now through the rest of the film he searches for love with various other woman. He writes a novel called 2046 which is the room number in which he met the one that got away. It revolves around a train that takes people to room 2046 to relive memories they have lost, to many people it's a futuristic story yet to him it's just a hotel room number as he states. It's visually amazing and with solid performances as the story unfolds it kept getting more interesting and engaging, I loved the soundtrack and overall I recommend it and was hardly disappointed at all with it.
