STEVEN TOULON ☃️’s review published on Letterboxd:
Shouldn't come as a surprise with my sequel loving track record, but to me, Omen II was a hell of a lot more fun than Richard Donner's 1976 genre hit. Damien released two years later, but follows the titular son of the devil as a teenager in a military school. Very reminiscent of Child's Play 3, but unlike that film, sticks true to its style and enhances the story. Really unnerving score, and unpleasant in its death sequences. Just felt like there was much more of a threat, and more my kind supernatural horror. Nervous, but looking forward to the rest.
