alas, I find myself nearing the end of the Harry Potter marathon. my opinions on some of the films have drastically changed as they should and I have finally been able to throne a new favorite Harry Potter film.

This film is no exception to the cringe that is the Harry Potter filmverse. From Ron and Harry's two-three second hugging match to Harry and Hermione dancing in the tent, I find myself questioning so many choices that were made. Not to mention Emma and Daniel's nude snogging fest...

In the cringe of this film we do find some very emotional, heartfelt moments. Dobby *tear*, Headwig *tear*, and well any scene to feature Lupin and/or Tonks. Add to those to the list with the scene of Harry in Umbridges office going through the photos of killed Order members.. and you've got some good shots.

Not much else can be said about this film, once you start it you've signed up for a 2 hour and 30 min game of hide and go seek featuring Harry, Ron and Hermione hiding and Voldemort and gang seeking. Alternatively you could view it as Harry, Ron and Hermione seeking and Horcruxes + sword hiding.

What this film lacks, gets shown in all its glory in part 2. I'm very glad they split it up like this, as I would've hated this film if half of it was teenage angst combating with a heroes mission... oh wait... that's the whole franchise.
