My first film viewing of 2020, and it was a fun ride. After seeing Murphy host SNL for the first time in forever, I knew I had to see this. I'm glad I did because everyone involved seems to be having a blast. Murphy really brings obvious delight to playing someone he admired, and it makes for a welcome reminder of why he is a star.
I was particularly impressed by newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph and the very welcome return of Wesley Snipes, funnier than I ever believed he could be. Lots of great cameos including Bob Odenkirk who did the same just last week in Little Women.
