This list is based upon my own personal ratings of each film and then, as ever, on my favorites within each rating. To be honest, many of these are amongst my all-time favorite films so the top 18 are somewhat interchangeable.
Some of these ratings are based upon seeing them in my childhood and may be higher because of that.
I have yet to see Broadway Melody of '33, Calvacade, and Cimarron.
