I was resisting in giving this 4 and a half until I see it again, but it needs more than just 4. When I came out I felt like I couldn’t think straight I wasn’t even that shook by what I saw, just by being in that environment and atmosphere made my skin crawl.
I think I got it?????? Definitely need a second watch, I love the way it used cliche horror tropes, like it felt as if they were actually a part of the story and not just thrown in because that’s what we expect???? I don’t think that makes sense.
I can’t tell if I saw the pace as perfect and loved it, or just found it annoying because it was nothing like what I’ve seen before.
Made me really really really want to watch The Witch again. AND THE HEAD BIT HOLY SHIT I WAS SO SHOOK
