    Trying to rip-off both Twin Peaks and Paris Texas is a bold move for a zero budget indie feature, and when your only major identifiable quirk is that the main character’s full name is said every 15 seconds, it’s going to be a failure. A fascinating watch, but certainly not good by any stretch.

    Another one of those early 90’s TriStar genre jammers that’s fairly unknown, a cult movie in search of its cult. It’s pretty shocking to me that nobody is talking about this outside of LB. It’s definitely going for a Coens/Dante feel, which is always welcome, the carnival/trailer park art direction is fantastic, and Dennis Quaid is straight up Beetlejuicing out, but somehow it didn’t quite land for me? High recommend to check out however, I can see this potentially being a very special movie for some people.
