Smile 2022
Yeah, it’s derivative and a bit predictable. And more than a couple of the jump scares felt forced and unnecessary. But I managed to have fun with this anyway. It was effectively creepy most of the time and the monster at the end was pretty cool. Oh, and I thought the score was fantastic!
Not the best of the year, but it’s definitely worth checking out.

It’s October, all of my decorations are up, I’m sipping vodka from my favorite M&M coffee mug while watching Linnea Quigley shove a lipstick tube through her nipple, fully possessed Angela float through the halls of the Hull House, and a random old man eat a razor blade infested apple pie.
