This is my second time watching this, and I had forgotten just how good it is. Every character is multi-faceted, which is an impressive feat in a movie with a pretty large main cast. Kyle made me both laugh and cringe, probably because he is so much like people I went to high school with (shoutout to Portland, OR). The long shot of Lady Bird's mom circling around the airport had me audibly sobbing- the way Laurie Metcalf's face changes in that scene is devastating and really shows what a great actress she is. This is really just an incredible movie, and between this and the new Little Women, Greta Gerwig is quickly becoming my favorite writer/director.
