    For being a remake this is oddly decent, I put alot of that on Chris Hemsworth carrying the movie. It's not a straight rehash, its no longer in Colorado (as a Colorado native this disappoints me) Its not russia its Koreans....and Russians. The rest is mostly the same just more modern and more explosions. thats about it.

    I assumes for the past 13 years this would be a very dumb movie, I was not disappointed. If your a fan of Seth Rogens comedy then this is sub par even for him. Its better then paul blart, but its another inept mall cop movie. The coffee lady sure is pretty though

    2001: A Space Odyssey

    This was the only movie I ever shut off but I finally got around to giving it another try and I'm very glad I did. This time it clicked and I'm so glad I stuck with it. The story is really well done but the pacing in this movie makes parts move at a snail's pace. The filming I have to admit some scenes made me think how did they manage that back then. I see why this is considered a classic now and I look forward to seeing it again.

    This had a fantastic cast so I should have loved it. But the pacing killed it and it's a bit more convoluted then it should be. Not in the can't follow what's happening sense, more in the sense of why was this put in the movie it's rather unneeded in several spots.
