Boiling Point

Boiling Point ★★★★

Ratatouille Live Action, except the rat is the audience/customers!

I'm a sucker for one-shot films as long as its proficient to the narrative. Boiling Point uses the trickery to anxious effect. Each conversation and situation ends with cliffhangers or pure chaos. Stephen Graham and Vinette Robinson are definitely the highlights of the film. As a person who worked in the restaurant industry, I can relate to the situations and anxiety behind running a business. Subplots include the shitty work conditions, minimum wages, and the spooky health inspections. The film is devilishly hilarious and tragic.

Side note: Bad use of a Sam Fender song and I love that bloke.
