Jojo Rabbit

Jojo Rabbit ★★★½

love is the strongest thing in the world

The cinematic equivalent of a rollercoaster of emotions. From laughing, crying, to feeling anxious- Jojo Rabbit has it all. However, Waititi doesn't do the best of jobs when balancing the film's tone. An entire scene filled drama and raw emotion followed by a sequence of jokes doesn't fit well- especially when a lot of the comedy is hit or miss. Everything else is steller though, especially Roman Griffin Davis' acting, which is probably one of the best child performances of the decade.

Support the homie Taikia Waititi. The dude's earned it.
