    Operation Finale

When it comes to the writing and pacing in this film, I wouldn’t necessarily call it “good”. It’s a slow viewing experience, and I wouldn’t be shocked if people turned it off before the finale. But as a Jew, nothing makes me happier than seeing N@z!s hunted down.

    So I enjoyed it!

A very enjoyable flick. No plot or central conflict; just a young man trying to find his place in life. And sometimes that’s all you need.

    Mortal Kombat

I don’t think we should be surprised that a big-budget video game film directed by a first-time director is terrible. Honestly can’t say anything more than everything about this film is simply disappointing. The dialogue feels like a pre-teen wrote it, the editors were either high or didn’t care enough to do their job, and the director had no idea what kind of story he wanted to tell. Warner Brothers are indeed the kings of screwing up at this point.…

    Zack Snyder's Justice League

This is a very solid film. My biggest gripe, however, is that Snyder’s vision isn't as “different” as the film we got back in 2017. Is it better and far more fleshed out? Yes. But the main plot points are still the same but with a splash of Darkseid. And speaking of Darkseid, you’ll be disappointed if you’re a massive fan of his. He has a screen time of around ten minutes, and that’s being generous with my estimate. But…

  • WandaVision

Very mixed on it at the moment. Loved the mystery and dark undertones but found everything else, either tedious or uninteresting. Has great potential, though, and I’m excited to see where it goes from here.

  • Drive

    you blinked.

This is my third viewing of Drive (or second or fourth who knows), and it ages like milk the more I watch it. Action scenes are top-notch, the music is mesmerizing, and the performances are all there, but the writing lags. For me, Driver feels like a cartoon character and not a real human; its almost impossible to relate to him or feel for him. Who is he? Why does he drive for criminals? And why the fuck…
