A Timecop tries to stop a shady politician from using time travel to become president of the USA. Been wanting to catch this movie for years and finally got around to it. The concept is great, the setting is above average, but the plot is mediocre at best. This definitely had the potential to be much better. It just felt very tamed. However, I was thoroughly entertained throughout the film and there were some nice twists and turns.
A black man is hired to search for a missing white woman in 1940s Los Angeles. This is a strong detective movie with some social commentary about the era that its story takes place in. The why ends up becoming more interesting than the who. The story is always good, but manages to get better as more is revealed. Love how the angle between blacks in California coming from Texas is played out, along with some of the jazzy-blues music.…
Joker is about a man that's tired of being mistreated and disrespected. He decides to get justice through violence, which captivates a city of full of people that are fed up with rich folks. I was definitely rooting for Joker and the protesters throughout the whole entire movie.
Joaquin Phoenix was awesome as Arthur Fleck/Joker. His dance moves as a clown for hire at the start of the movie and at the kids hospital are two of my favorite scenes,…
A woman is stalked and harassed by The Invisible Man after leaving her husband. Everyone think she's goin insane as her life starts to unravel from constant agitation from The Invisible Man.
Well written and entertainin from the very beginnin to the very end. There's not single dull scene. It gets pretty scary for a sci fi movie and the first on-screen death shocked the hell out of me. They set that scene up and executed it perfectly. Shit got hella real after that. I'm not a fan of the big twist and the final act, but it's not a major takeaway.
