This series evolved more than any other horror franchise I can think of. Really it evolved more than any franchise I can think of regardless of genre. Child’s Play 3 showed us what the future of this franchise would have been if they just kept regurgitating the same formula every few years, and it wasn’t good. I think it’s amazing how much they changed from movie to movie without ever losing the soul of the original Child’s Play.
