Holy shit. Absolutely hilarious. I had so much fun watching this one. It didn't feel like an hour. I guess time does really fly when you are having fun.

Can't blame the lead character for walking eighty five miles to be with his pre-apocalypse girlfriend. The charisma of Jessica Henwick would do that to you.

    (Mild spoiler)

Also, the entire sequence with Mav1s is probably my favorite in this film. Very heartwarming. And when "Stand By Me" suddenly plays during that scene... *chef's kiss*.

  • Wanderlust

Found this little gem and I really enjoyed it. Another great performance by Toni Collete.

Felt too much second hand embarassment with this one. This is watch-people-die-inside for an hour and a couple minutes.

That scene where she bumped into an expose nail got me howling. Wow, I really needed that laugh. This is funny af.

  • Godzilla vs. Kong

    Godzilla vs. Kong

Godzilla vs. Kong is an action fest of epic proportion. This is electrifying and visually appealling. A perfect popcorn flick.

Halfway through this film got me switching from Team Godzilla to Team Monke real quick. An absolute treat indeed.

Some lines that really stuck to me after rewatching this film:

    Believe it.

Evil does not sleep. It waits.

They said the Age of Heroes would never come again.
No, it will. It has to.

You're looking at the hottest thing on Earth. Exact words I said to my prom date. She dumped me anyway.

I heard about you. Didn't think you were real.
    I'm real when it's useful.

Hold! This one will be mine.
    I belong to no one.…

    Making The Leftovers

    Stand-in for the show.

To the people who are trying to fill the gaping hole inside them, to those who have this extreme feelings of melancholy, and to anyone who always have the deepest thoughts at night...

The Leftovers is for you. An immersive experience from start to finish. This show revolves around the people who are trying to adjust to the life after "The Sudden Departure", a rapture-like event in which millions of people vanished into thin air. This…

  • Raya and the Last Dragon

    Raya and the Last Dragon

I don't understand what the fuss is all about Raya and The Last Dragon cause I thought it is wonderfully made and visually stunning. Great character development. The plot is kinetic, fast paced, and straightforward. I think I enjoyed watching it more than my niece. Very entertaining.

From now on, I'm only gonna read criticisms on this film from fellow Asians. Others can choke.

    The Art of Self-Defense

I didn't play by the rules, but there never were any rules.

Watched this one without knowing anything prior. I suggest everyone to do the same. It might put you off at the start but just power your way through cause it gets better.
