  growing up and realizing that your parents are complex, flawed, and are just trying to survive, too. now being old enough to comprehend the struggle and heaviness of being alive, let alone a parent at such a young age where you were forced to grow up too fast yourself. realizing your parents are more similar to you than you thought when you were younger. this movie was the visual representation of just that and it hits like a ton of bricks in those last ten minutes.
