A classic in every sense.
The one thing I noticed this go-around is that it feels slightly long and I think that’s because it literally erupts into chaos almost immediately. No buildup or anything, you’re placed in the mayhem of Amity Island instantly. Not a knock whatsoever, just something I observed.
The chemistry between Brody, Hopper, and Quint is magnificent. When I was a kid I would get bored by their conversations but now, as an adult, I found it only added to the wonderful character development for all three men.
Also, the practicality of this shark will ALWAYS upstage any CGI shark(s) that followed this film. Not having seen this movie in almost 10yrs really allowed me to realize how much I adore this movie. 10/10.
