This shit is hilarious. The screenplay is honestly awesome every opportunity is taken making it so entertaining. Every joke hits, pacing is great, themes are very deeply explored. For a Rom/Com it is surprisingly very deep at points with you genuinely relating to the protagonists. Overall, great movie would recommend for any couple wanting to watch some Hulu instead of Netflix and chilling.

Average as fuck. Felt no emotions towards this film if the main protagonists died I wouldn’t have cared lol. Honestly man not a bad film not a good film. A direct to TV feel to it. No wonder why this movie made only 5 million in the box office but took 15 million to make. Overall, not for me and probably not for you.

Upgrade is a dope movie. The screenplay is typical (despite the awesome ending) although the dialogue is blunt and realistic. The production design and cinematography creates a beautiful but dark dystopia which is believable. The camera work for the STEM takeover sequences are so dynamic. The car chase scene is also so visually stunning with the street lights and headlights contrasting with the darkness of the cars. Overall, very well made dystopian action flick, would recommend.

Natalie Portman was 11 when she auditioned for the role of Mathilda in this movie. Both her and Jean Reno have outstanding performances. The colour tone is so very yellow throughout although I feel it works for the film. The dialogue and relationship built between Leon and Mathilda is the core of this film. The action is intense and you feel the stakes through every scene. The intro and ending were both just a bang as well. Overall, a great movie about a hit man, a little girl, and their plant.
