King Kong is a super iconic film. This set the stage for every adventure movie to come after. The plot is great it’s a timeless and entertaining story. Almost every scene is recognizable and each scene reminds you how far the film industry as come. The acting is good Fay Wray and Robert Armstrong give good performances. The visual effects are phenomenal, the way they used stop motion for King Kong and the monsters is incredibly impressive even for today’s standards. It must have been really exciting to see this when it first came out. The cinematography is pretty good and the score is great. The production design is fantastic, the island is really impressive. The ending when Kong is on the top of the Empire State Building is utterly iconic. Overall King Kong is an incredibly impressive and utterly iconic film that will never get old.
