I feel like I owe the entire cast and crew of Us an apology for only thinking it was fine after my first viewing. This movie is fucking brilliant.

The final fight/dance scene between Adelaide and Red is one of my favourite fight scenes ever. The sharp, practiced movements of Red met with the tired, frustrated jabs by Adelaide are mesmerizing - and paired with that score makes it a perfect scene for me. I was still working at a movie theatre when Us came out and I had it timed perfectly so I knew when that fight scene was about to start so I could go and watch it when I was working.

Just like Get Out, Us only became stronger and more concise upon second viewing. I can't wait to revisit this.
