"i just want to be comforted"

this is a honest and raw look into convent life, kind, hopeful at times and equally harsh at others but very close to the sisterhood and belief that leads women to become nuns as well as what happens when the illusion they've trained for falls. they build their whole life around a strong idea, their identity, their toxic ways of connecting to god to the way the see themselves, all affected by the changes…

    "it doesnt let me dream"

by far the most tense and intense movie by the directors. the lore is confusing but equally weird and interesting and it complements resolution very well, only i couldn't understand one detail with the timeline. finally i could connect with their characters, i loved the dynamic and development between the brothers. they are season 1 sam and dean with roles reversed and i felt close to them, their arguments, fears, mental processes. their post cult…

anything with slashers satire, a meta element and nina dobrev playing a dumb katherine wins me over. the emotional stuff in the movie started feeling really forced but ended alright and i loved the song bit. the character building is also not the best and it has some inconsistencies with the final girl trope to make the storylines fit that i didn't understand but it's still pretty original and fun. the meta stuff hit me hard though, i fell asleep watching this and i had a lucid nightmare where i tried to wake up, couldn't and the place started to look weird?
