Amy’s review published on Letterboxd:
Wow. This sure brings me back to my own middle school experience. Like shockingly so. Todd Solondz does an expert job at capturing the grim 3 years that is the transition from child to teenager, and how truly isolating and wretched an experience it is. The way that no one was on Dawn’s side, she didn’t have a single win, and her family couldn’t care less about her, had me ready to wring a neck. Such is the life of an ignored, socially-stunted loser.
