burning hot, surprisingly tender, annoyingly long. wish they’d focused more on the emotional connection between the pair instead of the physical attraction, because by the time warren confessed his love, i was not convinced. but overall, i enjoyed this one.

i was too harsh on fire island, which is way better than billy eichner’s movie. i’m so sorry, joel kim booster and company.

this was very cute and fun. i wish they’d focused more on rosaline AND dario.

i find the acting a bit amateur, but i really liked that this was unapologetically bonkers, just like hausu.

as a claustrophobic rat hater, i hated this.

watched for gael garcía bernal and was surprised by how good the film was. definitely their best since wandavision.

“i’m not your daughter.”
“oh yes, you are. you’re mine and louis’ daughter now.”

obviously gay, but not gay enough due to a lack of kissing or sex scenes between tom cruise and brad pitt. this is why amc’s interview with the vampire (2022) is better!

well, that was exhausting to watch. ana de armas gave her best performance to date. the score and the transitions were great. but i definitely didn’t need to see the cgi fetus and hear ana say “daddy” a hundred times. there were also dehumanizing and distasteful sequences. andrew dominik, you will not see heaven.

i don’t know about you, but i would’ve chosen the hunky blond commander over christianity. best scene was that slo-mo water romp, which was more homoerotic than actual porn.

took me a rewatch to really appreciate this film. visually striking and incredibly hypnotizing.

still processing what i just watched, but i think i liked it, except the ending and all the fades to black.
