  The least interesting Eggers film. What pushes it to 4 stars is that it still feels like an Eggers film, which is an accomplishment. His style is still present in every camera movement. Thought a lot about Noah and The Green Knight during this.

  Seen at the Aero theater in Los Angeles, PTA’s personal 35mm print.

  First time seeing it in the theaters since I saw it 4 times in the summer of 2007 at 16. Back then the audience thought it was stone-cold, today we know it’s a comedy.
