Such a messy, honest, and open film. There's so much depth given to each of the three leads that they mostly become more than their rom com stereotypes. When you add in the deeper themes about the media industry, it's just great from top to bottom.
The most straightforward Robert Eggers film and still full of weird shit. It's got all the classics: guttural sounds, nudity, and mysticism. The best compliment I can give is that Eggers took a story told a million times, made it his own, and made me glad that I went to a theater to see it.
