natalie’s review published on Letterboxd:
I just saw Parasite in its truest form: black and white. Viewing it this way was a vastly different experience than seeing it in color (something I have done 3 times now). The depth of the storytelling and message was heightened and the film became much more story-oriented if that makes sense. Losing that vivid visual appeal and contrast gave way to a much more deeply emotional and moving experience than in color. This was Parasite at its full potential. Bong Joon Ho’s masterfully crafted Parasite came to life in a whole new way, and walking out of the theater tonight left me even more excited for whatever his next project is.
