Star Wars: The Last Jedi

Star Wars: The Last Jedi ★★★★½

Annual tradition: MY MOM’S THOUGHTS ON STAR WARS!:

“I want to see it again! I loved it!”

“Rey: weren’t her parents killed? Am I just confusing her with some other girl who lives in the desert?”

Re: finding out Rey’s parents were no one: “I thought it was neat!”

Re: the cave of mirrors: “It’s like a dream. But it’s not a dream, she’s in a bit of a trance. And I think if she gets to the bottom of herself she’s going to find out who she is, but no: it’s only herself.”

Re: Luke dying: “Well that was so sad. Of course I thought Han Solo dying was the saddest thing too.”

“Oh I love Yoda! Who doesn’t love Yoda!”

Re: flying Leia: “I thought that was a bit strange. I guess she was using the Force. I thought she had died but I guess she was moving her fingers.”

“I loved all those little creatures! Although they didn’t really have much of a part except being annoyances for Chewbacca.”

“But I love Benicio. But why was he in prison if he can pick locks?”

Re: Finn/Rose: “Well obviously she’s in love with him but now poor Finn doesn’t know what he is thinking!”

“You know the AT-AT walkers*? I thought they were the good guys?”

*yes, she pulled that name on her own.
