Teddy Roberts’s review published on Letterboxd:
"your story may not have such a happy beginning, but that doesn't make you who you are. It is the rest of your story, who you choose to be..."
This is my ultimate comfort movie. When I'm having a really rough time in my life I feel that this will always be able to be a purposeful path to learning more in those dark times.
It's really the ultimate story about coping with pain, how you not only don't need to let that pain and darkness define you but how you can turn it into something good and meaningful in your path of life.
I will never get tired of this, I will never cease to cry in possibly my favourite scene of animation wisdom: inner peace.
that little teaser at the end still sucks though and is the only reason why this isn't a 5/5
