-delroy lindow had an interesting though somewhat obnoxious character and his acting for it was on point
-sorta fun? Kinda felt like Indiana jones but spike Lee
-jonathan majors is looking good😳
-as usual, spike lee excels in creating a strong sense of context.
-the score was very melodramatic
-cliches everywhere. Ex. Long lost war baby, backstabbing buisness partner, "my mom died in childbirth and my dad never forgave me" etc.
-all of the diologue.
War related movies are one of my least favorite genres but I geuss this one does it a little different with its lack of subtly and tact, opting instead for vibrant imagery and performances, on the nose action and politics with a dash of fun editing. Its definitely oozing in spike lee, but I'm gonna have to pass this joint
