Very good, though not as transformative for me as it seems to have been for the rest of the world. But still, this belongs among the top class of teenage coming of age movies, and speaks to a specific experience of growing up in way that feels (and evidently is) universal. My mind is boggled, though, that I've been seeing Saoirse Ronan in movies for what seems like decades now and yet she's still apparently the same age as she's always been.
